Micromatic’s Rotac® Hyd-ro-ac® rotary actuators are built to provide sustained performance, long product life, and can withstand the most hostile environmental conditions. As a result, our actuators have diverse applications – such as positioning, handling, and operation – for a wide range of machinery and equipment.

MATERIAL HANDLING

Applications include material transfer and dumping, positioning for conveyors, dump hoppers, container spreaders, and position mixer loading.

PLASTICS & RUBBER PROCESSING

Applications in plastics, rubber, and other raw material processing machinery include positioning, feeding, and clamping blow molding dies, removing finished parts from die molds, machine and mixer valve opening and closing, position safety guards, and product positioning and transfer.

WASTE EQUIPMENT

Waste equipment applications for garbage, trash, and recycling vehicles include boom and chute positioning, actuating hopper lifts, and tippers that offer the highest load versus pressure in the industry.

MOBILE EQUIPMENT

Applications include valve operation (opening and closing), excavator bucket rotation, spray nozzle, conveyor, drill rig positioning, and off-road vehicle steering.

TESTING EQUIPMENT

Micromatic’s hydraulic rotary actuators have many applications for measuring, controlling, and testing devices. Our fatigue, wind tunnel positioning, and structural excitation test systems use torque to create repeatable, measurable stress on parts. These tests indicate durability for axles, couplings, drive shafts, and universal joints.

MARINE APPLICATIONS

Our actuators have many applications for the yachting industry, including davits and cranes of every capacity, hydraulic gangplanks, doors, and hatches.

CNC Pipe Bending

Micromatic’s hydraulic vane rotary actuators provide the high torque and speed required for tube bending machines capable of handling massive tubes in rugged environments. High-quality machines, such as Eaton Leonard, have been using Micromatic’s actuators for many years.
